Slovak artist Andrea Kalinová explores an abandoned health spa in Trenčianske Teplice. Well past its prime the building has been passed from occupant to occupant, owner to owner with no clear future. Through introducing the building to the viewer, looking over its history, and interviewing people currently interested in this once grand but now slowly decaying building, Kalinová asks, “But what is truly dysfunctional? The building, the architecture or the society? Are we prepared to deal with modern ruins?”
